Today is what Kutztown University likes to call "Big Art Day", or BAD (because we just seem to love acronyms at ku). Each year the university invites three alumus who have graduated from the Fine Arts Department back to talk about their careers. It's supposed to inspire us, and make us feel like we have a chance when we graduate....for some students, it makes them feel very nervous...these people worked really hard to finally get a job.
Overall I think it's a good idea. It's a nice little day to celebrate the arts and all of those working in our little art community.
A photography, Matt Smith, was one of the speakers today. He currently works for The Express-Times. He shoots alot of Nazareth's wrestling matches, so it was interesting to meet him. You can see his website here.
I'm definitely having that "3 o'clock" feeling....so goodbye.
